This privacy policy explains how Ronething handles information related to your use of Stitch Viewer.

Product overview

Stitch Viewer is an iPhone and iPad app for browsing .dst embroidery designs, inspecting design details, and exporting PNG previews.

What we may collect

In the current version, Stitch Viewer does not require a user account or an in-app sign-up flow.

We may handle the following categories of information:

  • Access permissions that you grant for local files or folders;
  • App preferences stored on your device, such as recent workspaces and language selection;
  • Support information that you choose to send to us by email.

What we do not do by default

Unless a future feature clearly says otherwise:

  • We do not automatically upload your selected .dst files to our servers;
  • We do not require you to create an online account;
  • We do not sell your personal information;
  • We do not use the contents of your design files for advertising.

How local files are handled

To help you browse workspaces and design files, Stitch Viewer may ask you to choose a folder or file from iOS Files.

That access is used to:

  • browse the workspace you selected;
  • read design details and thumbnails;
  • export PNG previews locally;
  • restore recently used workspaces when you open the app again.

The current version favors local file access and local processing wherever possible.

How we use information

We use relevant information only as needed to:

  • open and browse the workspace you authorized;
  • remember app language and recent workspaces;
  • troubleshoot technical issues;
  • improve reliability and core product quality.

Third-party services

If a future version introduces analytics, crash reporting, or cloud sync services, we will update this policy before or when that change becomes available.

Data retention

Local preferences are generally stored on your device.
If you send support emails or attachments, we may retain them for a reasonable period as needed to provide support and investigate issues.

Children’s privacy

Stitch Viewer is not specifically designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date.
